Justin Yong

Justin Yong is the founder of 1AHC, a Melbourne-based legal practice offering practical and strategic advice across commercial and property law. He commenced his legal career in private practice in Sydney before serving as in-house counsel at the Bank of China’s Sydney Branch. Justin’s career includes significant experience in Hong Kong and Singapore, where he provided guidance to leading financial institutions on banking and finance law, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering matters. After obtaining an unrestricted practising certificate in Victoria in late 2023, he returned to Melbourne and held the position of Special Counsel at prominent commercial law firms and legal service providers. His expertise spans a broad range of areas, including banking and finance, business and corporate law, building and construction, conveyancing and real property, insolvency, energy and resources, equity and trusts, financial services, information technology and telecommunications, leasing law, privacy, regulation and compliance, as well as assisting small businesses and not-for-profit organisations.
