Phillip's capabilities extend to emerging technologies like carbon dioxide removal, medical and automotive technology, clean energy generation and storage, as well as blockchain innovations including cryptocurrencies, decentralised finance, and smart contracts. In 2006, Phillip co-founded Adams Pluck, building on his previous role at a leading patent firm in Sydney, where he had spent over 11 years as a patent and trademark attorney. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, and is a registered Patent and Trademark Attorney in Australia, as well as a registered Patent Attorney in New Zealand. His practice areas include patents for inventions, designs and copyright, searching and freedom to operate, and oppositions and litigation. Phillip began his career at Shelston IP, where he served diligently as a Patent Attorney and Senior Associate for nearly 12 years. He is a graduate of Macquarie University and was actively involved in the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand during his studies.
