Satbir Singh

Satbir Singh serves as the Director and is a dedicated practitioner of Family and Relationship Law. After completing his Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University, he embarked on a career devoted to this field. Initially, he spent two years as a Judge’s Associate at the then Federal Circuit Court of Australia, gaining invaluable insight into the judicial process within the Family and Relationship Law jurisdiction. He further honed his skills at a Melbourne law firm, focusing exclusively on family law before relocating to Geelong. Satbir is deeply attuned to the emotional complexities that clients face and is committed to providing practical, client-focused solutions for intricate family law matters, including both parenting and property issues. His approach emphasises collaboration and practicality, aiming to resolve matters efficiently and sensitively. Regularly appearing in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, as well as the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria, Satbir is well-versed in navigating the legal landscape. His accomplishments include winning the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 award for Family Law in 2021, an honour recognising young legal professionals under 30 who demonstrate outstanding leadership and dedication. He was also a finalist in 2020, and his peers in the industry have continually recognised his contributions. In 2022, he was named a Rising Star in the Doyles Guide, followed by recognition as a Recommended Lawyer in 2023 and 2024, and a Leading Lawyer in 2024 and 2025 in family and relationship law. Satbir has managed a range of cases recorded in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, including in the appeal division and the High Court of Australia. His practice extends across the Surf Coast and Melbourne. Beyond his professional life, Satbir is passionate about sports, particularly cricket and football. He actively contributes to his community by managing the Junior Program at his local cricket club, reflecting his enthusiasm for nurturing talent and teamwork.
