AJ Faisal is a dedicated solicitor with a strong focus on criminal defence. A graduate of the University of Southern Queensland with a Juris Doctor, Ahmed has built a solid foundation through hands-on experience in the legal field. During his tenure at Mackenzie Mitchell Solicitors, he honed his skills in legal research, court appearances, and preparing court submissions, while benefitting from the mentorship of Mr Mackenzie, a seasoned criminal defence lawyer. Ahmed's role as a Law Clerk involved critical tasks such as advising on QP9s and managing court hearings. His experience extends to providing administrative and paralegal support at Caxton Legal Centre, where he managed client intake processes, case file management, and new team member training. Ahmed also possesses a rich history of roles in mediation and dispute resolution, drawn from his private practice work. His broad legal experience is complemented by strong analytical and administrative abilities, developed through previous positions at organisations including Australia Post and Telstra. Currently a solicitor at Sterling Law in Queensland, Ahmed is an active member of the Queensland Law Society.
