

Cristina Huesch is the Principal and Managing Partner of Alliance Family Law, where she leverages her extensive background in family law to guide her clients through legal challenges with a focus on achieving fair outcomes outside of court. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, followed by comprehensive legal training at institutions including the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and the College of Law in Sydney. Cristina's career commenced as a paralegal at the Australian Film Finance Corporation, progressing to a legal role at Murphys Lawyers, and eventually becoming a Partner at Armstrong Legal in Canberra. In 2014, she established Alliance Family Law, where she continues to serve as a Director. Cristina is committed to collaborative practice, an approach that prioritises the interests of all parties to reach amicable settlements. Although she holds qualifications as an Independent Children's Lawyer, Cristina's practise currently focuses on broader family law issues such as divorce settlements, child custody arrangements, and property divisions. Her formal qualifications include a Master's Degree in Applied Law with a concentration in Family Law Practice, as well as accreditation as a Family Law Specialist by the Law Society. Cristina remains active in the legal community, contributing to developments in family law through her memberships with the Law Council of Australia's Family Law Section, the ACT Law Society's Family Law Committee, and other professional associations. Her fluency in German also enhances her ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
