Annalisa Doedens serves as the Principal at her own legal practice, bringing over three decades of legal expertise to her clients. She commenced her legal career in 1990, training at the esteemed firm Avery Abel in Moonah. Her professional journey includes significant tenures at James Crotty Barristers and Solicitors and alongside Bill Ayliffe SC, where she gained invaluable experience appearing in the Supreme Court across both criminal and civil domains, as well as in the Family Court. Her extensive appearances in the Magistrates Court for criminal matters further cemented her reputation as a skilled litigator. In the mid-1990s, Annalisa took a brief hiatus from private practice to focus on her family, returning to the profession with a position at Legal Aid in 1997. There, she dedicated over 25 years, providing clients with advice and assistance across a broad spectrum of family, criminal, and minor civil issues. Her work extended to appearances in the Mental Health and Guardianship Tribunals, showcasing her depth of understanding in sensitive legal matters. Recently, Annalisa has redirected her focus exclusively toward criminal law, continuing her advocacy in the Magistrates and Supreme Courts.
