Emma MacDonald

Emma MacDonald is a dedicated solicitor at Aylward Game Solicitors with a focus on family law. Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, she is also an active member of the Queensland Law Society and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland. Emma's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French and Ancient History from the University of Queensland. Her studies included a semester abroad in Lyon, which enriched her linguistic skills and cultural appreciation. Drawn to family law by her passion for helping others and her interest in child protection, Emma's commitment is evident in her extensive volunteer work. She has mentored students through UQ’s Young Achievers Program and assisted refugees with visa applications through RAILS. Emma also supported the Women's Legal Service, aiding with domestic violence cases in the Ipswich Magistrates Courts. Emma is known for her empathetic approach, striving to provide a supportive environment for her clients during emotionally challenging times. She is adept in handling various cases, including divorce, parenting arrangements, property settlements, and domestic violence matters.
