Anthony Balfe

Tony Balfe brings a wealth of experience to his role as a consultant at Balfe & Webb. After graduating from Monash University with a law degree in 1976, he was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1978. His career quickly progressed as he became a partner at Purcell, Balfe & Co in 1981 and later at Purcell, Balfe & Webb in 1989. By 2001, Tony had taken on the role of principal at Balfe & Webb, a position that enabled him to steer the firm's direction until its sale to Greg Lay in 2019. Despite selling the practice, Tony continues to offer his expertise as a consultant. Tony's practice areas include commercial and business law, trusts, commercial and retail leasing, and estate administration. His extensive experience as a solicitor has been instrumental in guiding clients through complex legal landscapes, ensuring their needs are met with diligence and a deep understanding of the law.
