Yaan Fong Chan

Mr Yaan Fong Chan is the principal solicitor and a notary public at BC Lawyers. He embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1999, eventually earning a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice. Admitted as a legal practitioner by the Supreme Court of NSW in 2004, Mr Chan began his career as a solicitor and legal consultant at Mok & Associates. During his tenure, he gained valuable experience in commercial and property transactions, property development, court litigations, franchising, trademarks, and family law. In 2008, after four years with Mok & Associates, he established his own practice in Burwood. Mr Chan is dedicated to providing personalised legal services to clients across all levels. He continues to offer consultancy services to Mok & Associates. Before pursuing his legal path, Mr Chan worked as a financial accountant in commercial firms, handling business modelling and financial reporting for a reputable investment bank. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
