

Cherriee Ludemann is a Partner at BDG Legal, based in Bundall, Queensland, practising in corporate, commercial, and family law. She holds a Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies from Southern Cross University, and both Bachelor and Master of Laws degrees from Queensland University of Technology, where she was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2006. With a keen interest in Business Law, Cherriee has been an active member of various committees including the Competition and Consumer Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society since 2011 and has contributed to the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association. Her career commenced as an in-house lawyer with a renowned Gold Coast manufacturer, quickly progressing to the roles of General Counsel and Company Secretary. In this capacity, Cherriee managed the company's global commercial, consumer, corporate, and intellectual property legal services. Transitioning to private practice in 2014, she has since advised on commercial property transactions, leasing, corporate structuring, and mergers, delivering strategic legal compliance guidance to executive management and boards. Cherriee's experience extends to successful litigation in courts across Australia, with a strong reputation in enforcement and recovery of judgements. Her expertise also covers workplace health and safety, risk management, employment law, and corporate governance. She has mentored aspiring lawyers as part of QUT's career mentor scheme and continues to impart knowledge as Casual Academic Staff at the University of Southern Queensland. Her passions beyond law include travel and the beach, reflective of her Gold Coast upbringing.
