About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Biggs, a Partner at his firm, was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1982. He holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland. Beginning his legal journey in commercial litigation at the CBD firm Smith & Fitzgerald, he quickly progressed to partner in 1983, subsequently managing the firm's Aspley practice. After the dissolution of Smith & Fitzgerald, he co-founded Biggs & Fitzgerald in partnership with John Fitzgerald. Throughout his extensive career, Jeff has acquired comprehensive experience across various legal realms, with a primary focus on Family Law, in which he gained accreditation in 1999. His expertise also extends to Estate Litigation, Commercial and Property Disputes, and Criminal Law. Known for his tenacious advocacy, Jeff commands respect from his peers and consistently receives referrals from past clients and fellow legal practitioners who trust him with their legal needs. Jeff maintains strong connections to Brisbane's north side, actively participating in the Albany Creek Rotary Club.
