Kevin Emanuel was admitted as a solicitor in February 1974 following two years as an article clerk with the predecessor to Boyd House & Partners. He played a pivotal role as one of the three founding partners when the firm officially commenced operations under its current name on 1 May 1978. Ascending to the position of senior partner in July 1992, Kevin's legal practice has primarily focused on litigation, with a particular emphasis on personal injury and insurance matters. His extensive practice also encompasses conveyancing, wills and probate, commercial leasing, and business law. In 1994, the Law Society of New South Wales recognised his expertise by certifying him as an Accredited Specialist in personal injury law. In January 1995, Kevin's legal acumen was further acknowledged with his appointment as an arbitrator in both the Supreme and District Courts, a role he executed for several years. A member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Australian Life Underwriters and Claims Association, Kevin maintains a practice built on enduring personal relationships with his clients. Outside the legal realm, Kevin has been deeply involved in sports, initially as a participant and now as an avid golfer at The Australian Golf Club for over 25 years. He balances his professional commitments with pride in his family, noting his two young adult sons, one of whom is pursuing studies in the United Kingdom, while the other advances his career in the golfing industry.
