Sylvia Davis

Sylvia Davis is a seasoned Senior Associate at Breene & Breene, having joined the firm in 2011 and earned her current title in 2017. Her practice is anchored in commercial law, litigation, and insolvency. Sylvia adeptly handles a myriad of commercial transactions, including the sale and purchase of businesses, creation of corporate structures, restructuring through share and unit transfers, and formulating shareholder agreements. Her expertise extends to drafting and providing advice on loans and leases while navigating negotiations for a variety of commercial contracts. Sylvia has managed an extensive range of litigation matters in courts from the Local Court of NSW to the High Court of Australia. Her commitment to insolvency law is demonstrated by her completion of the Insolvency Education Program through the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association. She actively mentors emerging legal professionals in the Law Society's Graduate Mentoring Program, nurturing the next generation of lawyers. Outside her legal career, Sylvia enjoys staying active through sports and cherishing time with her family.
