Adam van Kempen

Adam van Kempen, the principal of the firm, brings a rich and diverse background to his legal practice. Graduating with honours from Southern Cross University School of Law & Justice with a Bachelor of Laws, Adam's journey to law began with a unique path. Raised on the Far North Coast of NSW, he completed his schooling in Brisbane and Sydney before embarking on a culinary career. His experience as a trained chef, running restaurants and catering businesses in Sydney, and later as an Executive Chef at a 5-star hotel in China, provided him with invaluable insights into small business operations. In 2002, Adam seamlessly combined his extensive business acumen with a legal career upon returning to the Northern Rivers with his family. His commitment to the local community is evident through his long-standing board memberships at SPRUNG!! Integrated Dance Theatre Inc. and the Byron Writers Festival. This dedication, paired with his legal expertise, underscores Adam's comprehensive approach to serving his clients' needs effectively.
