Sasha Jain

Sasha Jain is the Director and Principal Lawyer at Capital Five Partners, based in South Melbourne, Victoria. Her practice focuses on advising high-net-worth families and international businesses, where she delivers expert guidance on complex estate planning, taxation, and structuring. Known for her innovative thinking and problem-solving skills, Sasha is highly regarded for her calm and empathetic approach, particularly in managing intricate succession plans. Her extensive experience in taxation covers state, federal, and international law, including income tax, GST, CGT, and tax residency. Sasha's background in boutique multidisciplinary law firms has honed her ability to think both commercially and laterally, adeptly balancing client interests with legal requirements. Sasha embarked on her legal career after earning a Master of Tax, Bachelor of Laws (Hons), and Bachelor of Commerce. She was admitted to practice in 2014 and has since acquired diverse experience, including roles as a Senior Associate with KHQ Lawyers and earlier as a Lawyer at Pinnacle Advisory Group Pty Ltd and Hoyle Da Silva Lawyers, where she focused on insurance litigation. Her initial legal journey began as a Law Clerk in the Estate Planning and Probate group at Moores. Her education is complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Training from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. She also holds a Bachelor's degree from Griffith University, where she received an Academic Excellence Award for being in the top 5% of her class, and she further enriched her expertise with an International Law and Human Rights course at Masarykova University.
