Chris Parker is the Managing Principal and Director at Charltons Lawyers, with a distinguished career that spans over two decades. Originally from England, Chris moved to Australia at a young age, experiencing life in several states before settling in Queensland during his teenage years. He pursued his Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology, which laid the foundation for his legal career. Before transitioning to private practice, Chris gained valuable experience at the Department of Justice and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. In 2001, he began his journey in private legal practice, and by 2003, he and his wife had made Bundaberg their home. Chris forged a successful partnership at Charltons Lawyers and marked 20 years with the firm in 2023, reflecting his dedication and leadership in the legal field. Chris is not only successful professionally but is also deeply invested in his community. He has served as President of both his Rotary Club and the Bundaberg Law Association, highlighting his commitment to community service and leadership. His involvement with various charitable and sporting organisations, such as the North Bundaberg Cricket Club and the Bundaberg Cricket Association, underscores his passion for fostering community spirit. Outside of his legal career, Chris enjoys outdoor activities that connect him with nature.
