Kimberly Hunter

Kimberly Hunter serves as the Managing Director of Clancy & Triado, where she has established a prominent career in family law over more than three decades. Her legal journey began in New Zealand, where she was admitted before she advanced her career in the UK, focusing on intricate children’s cases. In 1998, Kimberly joined Clancy & Triado and was appointed Director in 2000. She earned Family Law accreditation from the Law Institute of Victoria in 1999, underscoring her extensive expertise in this field. Her practice encompasses a wide array of complex family law issues, including sophisticated financial disputes and challenging parenting cases, such as those involving relocation and same-sex relationships. Kimberly's financial litigation experience extends to substantial property matters where high-value business interests necessitate detailed valuations and intricate trust and corporate structures must be meticulously navigated. Kimberly is also dedicated to community service, having been a board member of Relationships Australia for numerous years. She remains an active advocate for mediation and alternative dispute resolution, frequently delivering papers on family law themes and presiding over panel discussions on complex property and parenting topics. Her contributions to the field are well-recognised, with consistent accolades from her peers and recognition in Doyle’s Guide as a leading lawyer in both parenting, children’s matters, and high-value property disputes.
