Sarah Brincat

Sarah Brincat is an Associate at Collards, where she has been a dedicated member since 2015. She is known for her energetic and client-focused approach, consistently striving to meet and exceed her clients’ expectations. With outstanding listening skills and a strong commitment to success, Sarah is a general legal practitioner with a comprehensive skill set across various practice areas. Her areas of expertise include businesses, leases and commercial law, wills and deceased estates, criminal law and intervention order matters, and debt recovery. Sarah's legal journey began with her role at Collards Solicitors, where she has had significant exposure to a broad spectrum of legal matters since 2015. Before joining Collards, she gained valuable experience as an instructing solicitor with Melasecca, Kelly & Zayler, assisting in a series of criminal trials at the County Court. Her legal foundation was built through a placement with La Trobe University's in-house legal team during her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Sarah's early career included working as an operator for the Translating & Interpreting Service in the Department of Immigration & Border Protection, where she honed her communication and liaison skills. Her role with Law In Order Pty Ltd involved providing crucial litigation support and ensuring document quality assurance. Additionally, at Whittlesea Community Legal Service, Sarah assisted clients and conducted legal research, showcasing her dedication to community service. Her legal education comprises a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in Legal Studies and Media Studies, from La Trobe University, reinforcing her well-rounded legal expertise and media literacy.
