Raised on the NSW Central Coast, she obtained a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macquarie University in Sydney. Lucy's professional journey took her to the Central West in 2018, where she honed her skills at Rickards Whiteley under the mentorship of esteemed legal minds, gaining extensive experience in Litigation and Wills and Estates. Demonstrating a strong presence in various legal forums, Lucy regularly appears in the Local, District, and Supreme Courts, as well as the Personal Injury Commission and NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Her advocacy experience also extends to the Children's Court, Fair Work Commission, and the Supreme Court of South Australia. Known for her empathetic yet strategic approach, Lucy delivers practical advice and excels in litigation, particularly favouring dispute resolution when advantageous for her clients. Her practice predominantly centres on Estate Disputes, advising executors and beneficiaries on Family Provision claims, Probate issues, and Succession Act matters, often representing clients in the NSW Supreme Court. In Estate Administration, she assists clients with Probate and Letters of Administration applications, while in Estate Planning, she advises on Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other related documentation. Her civil litigation expertise includes handling commercial and building disputes, as well as Personal Injury Law, encompassing Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Negligence claims. Lucy’s career began as a paralegal at Rickards Whiteley and quickly advanced to a principal position at Cultivate Legal. Her comprehensive legal education includes a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia. Outside her legal practice, Lucy enjoys hockey, socialising in Orange's vibrant venues, and spending quality time with her family and their beloved puppy, Archie.
