Kara Palombo

Kara Palombo is a partner and solicitor at Deegan Law, where she has been a valued team member since 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) from the University of Adelaide. This combination of legal and psychological knowledge equips Kara to handle family law and estate matters with sensitivity and understanding, recognising the emotional complexities these areas often involve. Kara has extensive experience in preparing estate documentation, including Wills, Advanced Care Directives, Powers of Attorney, and managing Probate applications. She is also skilled in negotiation and dispute resolution and regularly represents clients in the District, Supreme, Federal Circuit, and Family Courts. Kara is committed to providing clear, comprehensible legal advice, ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout the legal process. She understands that legal terminology can be challenging and takes the time to explain matters thoroughly, offering clients reassurance and confidence. Beyond her legal career, Kara has a keen interest in building and development, having managed the construction of her own home and other projects.
