Joshua Davis

Joshua Davis is a highly skilled attorney and the Managing Partner at the firm, with more than 15 years of experience in corporate law and strategic legal guidance for business expansion. A graduate of Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctor, Joshua is recognised as a leading lawyer in his field by several legal directories. Raised in a single-parent household, Joshua appreciates the profound impact of family dynamics on individuals. Although his expertise extends beyond family law, he acknowledges the significant influence that family law can have on clients and their families. Joshua earned his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University in 2016. Following his admission as a solicitor, he has gained experience as a family lawyer at a private practice in the city, a Senior Associate in the eastern suburbs, and a senior member of a Dandenong-based firm. In September 2021, Joshua founded DG Family Law, dedicating himself to ensure clients feel valued and receive top-quality legal services. His focus is on achieving practical outcomes for those he represents. He is admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria. As a former member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria, he contributed to policy development within the Family Law system through the LIV Family Law Working Group. Residing in Ferntree Gully with his wife Anna and their children Joy and Sunday, Joshua has a passion for languages, claiming proficiency in Indonesian. He also enjoys beekeeping and occasionally takes on the challenge of running with a pram to stay fit. Raised in Rowville, he continuously seeks to integrate the teachings of Jesus into his daily life.
