Sythany McKay brings a diverse wealth of legal experience to her role at Don Cameron & Associates, which she joined in 2024. She commenced her legal career in 2004, gaining extensive knowledge through roles in legal aid, international law, and human rights policy. Her experience as a government advisor and co-founder of a boutique personal injury law firm in the Byron Bay/Northern Rivers area underpins her comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape. Known for her compassionate and caring nature, Sythany is dedicated to assisting clients in navigating the complexities of legal processes with confidence and clarity. She combines her strategic and results-focused approach with a deep understanding of trauma, which has been vital in her successful representation of clients in civil litigation within the District and Supreme Court of NSW. Academically, Sythany holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Sydney, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Merit) from the Australian National University.
