

Christopher Wilson is the Managing Partner of a distinguished commercial litigation and advisory practice in Brisbane. This firm was formed through the merger of a boutique law firm he founded with a well-established litigation practice. As Managing Partner, Christopher guides the strategic direction and operational leadership of the firm, managing major client matters while continuing to provide expert advice on complex commercial disputes and regulatory issues. His practice is focused on high-value litigation, corporate advisory, and dispute resolution across property, construction, insolvency, and commercial sectors. The firm serves a diverse clientele, including property developers, corporate groups, professional services firms, and private investors. Christopher is also dedicated to firm governance, financial performance, and the development and mentoring of legal staff. Outside of his legal practice, Christopher plays a significant role in philanthropy as the Deputy Chairman and Chair of the Finance, Risk & Audit Committee for Hand Heart Pocket, the Charity of Freemasons Queensland. In this capacity, he contributes to governance, strategic direction, and fiduciary oversight, aiming to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people across the state. Previously, Christopher held senior governance roles as a Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary for BrewDog Australia. He advised on corporate compliance and governance issues, playing a key role in BrewDog’s Australian equity capital raise. His earlier legal career includes being a Partner at Dowd & Co, where he led on complex litigation matters, and founding Ashlar Legal, a boutique commercial law firm. He has also served as In-House Counsel for Caeculus Consultancy and the Raschta Group, offering strategic legal services and governance advice. Christopher began his legal career as an Associate at Rostron Carlyle Rojas Lawyers, where he managed complex commercial litigation, and as a Solicitor at Mullins, gaining experience in banking, insolvency, and construction disputes. He initially entered the legal profession as a Law Clerk at Ryan & Bosscher Lawyers, working in criminal defence and gaining valuable courtroom experience. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
