Stacey Dowson

Stacey Dowson, admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1996, has a vast and varied legal career spanning private and community practice. With experience across numerous community legal centres, Stacey held the position of Director of Women's Legal Resources, showcasing her commitment to advocacy and justice. A proud past member of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras board-appointed committee for 12 years, she has actively contributed to the community. Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Music Radio and a Bachelor of Laws. Before founding her legal practice, Dowson Solicitors, in 2003, she served as Principal Solicitor at the University of Technology Sydney's Law Centre. In 2008, she partnered with Mary Turco to establish Dowson Turco Lawyers, where she currently serves as the Managing Partner. Her role at Dowson Turco is distinguished by a broad range of services.
