About Brian Thomas
Brian Thomas Egan is the Principal of his firm and brings a wealth of experience from a career that began at Queensland University of Technology, where he was among the inaugural cohort of law students in 1977. Balancing part-time study with practical legal experience at the Magistrates Court in Brisbane, Brian completed his law degree in 1982. He further enhanced his qualifications with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1983. Early in his career, Brian worked as a consultant solicitor on a complex litigation matter involving the original Queensland casino site on the Gold Coast. Between 1984 and 1985, he served as a panel solicitor for Suncorp and the Workers Compensation Board, managing an active debt recovery practice. In 1987, Brian became a partner at an inner-city law practice before establishing his own firm in March 1989. His practice focuses on business and commercial law, commercial property, succession law, and broader business legal matters, offering his clients personalised and dedicated legal services.
