Erin Sims, the founder and a licensed Conveyancer at EL Conveyancing, brings a wealth of experience to her role as a consultant. Although Erin no longer occupies a management position, her influence remains integral to the firm. Her career in the legal field spans over six years prior to the establishment of EL Conveyancing, including her tenure as an associate at a leading Launceston law firm. There, Erin honed her expertise as a solicitor after graduating with an Arts/Law Honours degree from the University of Tasmania in 2003. In 2009, Erin channelled her passion for real estate into starting her own conveyancing practice, which has flourished under her leadership. Throughout her career, Erin has developed extensive skills in acting for both purchasers and vendors in real estate transactions across Tasmania, building a reputation for excellence. Her commitment to the profession is further exemplified by her role as the President of the Tasmanian Division of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers. At EL Conveyancing, Erin focuses on internal office management, ensuring the firm runs smoothly and efficiently. Previously, at Archer Bushby Barristers & Solicitors, Erin gained considerable experience in the litigation department, managing a diverse caseload of criminal and civil matters. Her responsibilities included client instruction, legal research, court appearances, and the preparation of legal documents. Her ability to manage time and meet deadlines was pivotal during her tenure there. Erin's academic achievements are notable, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law NSW, where she excelled with a High Distinction average. Her foundational education in law was completed with an Honours degree from the University of Tasmania, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of various legal disciplines.
