Nashika Damree

Nashika Damree is a dedicated lawyer based in Windsor, Victoria, with a strong foundation in commercial and corporate law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University, where she was honoured with the Deakin Meritorious Scholarship, and proceeded to obtain a Master of Laws from Monash University. Her academic achievements are complemented by her practical experience, which includes her role as a Contract Lawyer at Allens Linklaters in Melbourne. There, Nashika honed her skills in commercial litigation, specifically in managing complex class action matters and regulatory issues, utilising advanced legal software to streamline document analysis. Currently, Nashika is an integral part of the team at Elmtree Migration Lawyers, where she leverages her expertise in employer-sponsored work visas. Her multilingual capabilities in French, Hindi, and Mauritian Creole enhance her ability to assist a diverse client base. Her early career included internships that gave her exposure to various legal disciplines, including criminal, bankruptcy, and family law. During these internships, she developed her abilities in preparing legal documents, conducting comprehensive legal research, and supporting litigation processes. Nashika also contributed to significant legal research projects during her time at the DeakinTALENT FreelancingHUB, where she co-led a team providing detailed research for policy development.
