William Leather

William Leather serves as the Legal Practitioner Director at Fallu McMillan Lawyers, following a notable partnership with Dale Fallu Solicitors which he commenced in 1989. His leadership role was solidified with the formation of Fallu McMillan Lawyers in 2016, a merger that capitalised on his extensive 40-year career in law. Bill's legal proficiency encompasses a diverse array of practice areas, including commercial and residential conveyancing, criminal law, family law, leasing, and wills and estates. Throughout his career, Bill has actively contributed to the community by providing legal advice to an array of local organisations such as Challenge Employment and Training, Ipswich Young Employed People of Ipswich, and the Legal Aid review committee. He has also participated in the Legal Aid mediation and dispute resolution program and engaged with the Southeast Queensland Fishing Association and the Rotary Club of Ipswich City. As a dedicated resident of Ipswich for the past 30 years, Bill's commitment to his community is evident in his professional and personal endeavours. He attained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland, laying a strong foundation for his enduring legal career.
