Dean Stibbe

Dean Stibbe is a partner with extensive experience in the legal profession, having practised for nearly 30 years. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 1996. Complementing his legal qualifications, Dean is also a Certified Practising Accountant, having obtained his CPA status in 1997. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, and a Graduate Diploma in Taxation. In 1996, Dean co-founded Files Stibbe Lawyers on Bribie Island, where he has been a long-term resident since 1985. His connection to the local community is reflected in his active involvement with multiple organisations. He has held leadership positions such as Treasurer and Secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce, Director and Vice Chairman of the Bribie Island RSL & Citizens Club, and Chairman and Director of St Michaels College. Dean's dedication and professional achievements have been recognised through several accolades, including being a finalist in the Young Australian of the Year Awards, the Young Queensland CPA of the Year, and the Business Achiever of the Year Awards. His career demonstrates a strong commitment to both legal excellence and community engagement. Dean's practice encompasses corporations law, business and commercial law, property law including both commercial and residential matters, and succession law.
