Shalini Vellapandian

Shalini Vellapandian is the Principal Solicitor at Focus Migration, bringing over 15 years of comprehensive legal experience to her role. Her expertise spans more than nine years in immigration law, focusing on family, skilled, and corporate migration. Shalini's prior role as a Senior Associate at Fragomen, a globally recognised immigration law firm, honed her skills in advising significant public and private companies, as well as assisting smaller enterprises, individuals, and families with their migration needs. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania and has furthered her legal acumen with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in Sydney. Shalini is an active member of the Law Society of the ACT and the Migration Institute of Australia. Her ability to communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia further enhances her capacity to assist a diverse clientele.
