An alumnus of the University of Sydney, holding a Bachelor of Arts and Law, Stephen played a pivotal role in the creation of the firm's commercial litigation section. His legal acumen then expanded into banking and commercial property law, where he now focuses his extensive expertise. Stephen provides comprehensive commercial advice on a wide array of agreements, including those related to joint ventures and trusts. His proficiency extends to banking and financial documentation, encompassing loan facility agreements, mortgage and loan enforcement, and finance litigation. He adeptly handles matters related to company reorganisation, receivership, and schemes of arrangement. In the realm of property, Stephen is experienced in the acquisition and sale of commercial, industrial, and residential properties. His contributions to property law include handling strata schemes, development processes, and by-laws, alongside leasing and licensing matters. Stephen also brings his advocacy skills to local government appeals concerning development application refusals and represents clients in Succession Act claims. Outside of his legal practice, Stephen enjoys skiing, playing golf, and is an enthusiastic supporter of rugby, reflecting his dynamic approach both professionally and personally.
