Patrick Quinn

Patrick Quinn serves as a Director at Gilshenan & Luton, having joined the firm in 2018. Since his admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2011, Patrick has primarily focused on criminal and misconduct law, with additional experience in litigation and family law. His previous career as a hotel manager sparked a lasting interest in liquor and gaming law, adding a unique dimension to his extensive legal expertise. Patrick is dedicated to representing clients across a diverse range of investigations and proceedings. His practice encompasses transport and driving matters, sexual offences, drug offences, coronial investigations, commissions of inquiry, and weapons licensing. He is also well-versed in handling crime and corruption proceedings, professional body investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and workplace investigations. Since 2017, Patrick has contributed to the legal community as a member of the Queensland Law Society’s Criminal Law Committee. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, in rural Queensland, demonstrating a balance between his professional commitments and personal life.
