Lance Guymer, Director at our firm, commenced his legal career in 1988, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. With a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne, Lance has honed his skills across multiple domains, including commercial and domestic building contracts, building dispute resolution, and commercial litigation in various courts. His practice also encompasses architectural copyright, intellectual property, Water Act claims, development agreements, conveyancing, subdivisions, and planning law disputes. Lance is an accredited specialist in commercial litigation with the Law Institute of Victoria since 1993, reflecting his dedication and expertise. His capabilities extend to mediation, employment law, defamation, debt recovery, security of payments legislation, and owners corporation claims. Lance is a member of several prestigious organisations like the Law Institute of Victoria, Master Builders Association of Victoria, and Building Dispute Practitioners Society. He actively participates in the Users Group Building and Property List of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and contributes to the Peninsula Community Legal Service.
