Haralabos Abelas

Haralabos Abelas, Principal Solicitor, brings nearly two decades of legal experience to his role, admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW, the Federal Court, and the High Court of Australia. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Wollongong, Mr Abelas combines a robust academic foundation with substantial practical expertise. His legal career encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including positions with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in Markets and Enforcement, Ernst & Young in Tax Law, and Commonwealth Bank in Institutional Banking and Global Markets. He has also served in private law firms located in Sydney’s CBD, various private enterprises, and operates his own practice, Sydney Attorneys. In addition to his legal practice, Mr Abelas is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Wollongong's School of Law, where he imparts knowledge in Revenue and Taxation Law, as well as other key areas such as the Law of Contract, Law of Torts, and Commercial Law.
