Harris Gomez is the Founder and Director of Harris Gomez Group, an international firm renowned for facilitating cross-border transactions between common law countries and Latin America. With over three decades of experience, Harris has meticulously guided innovative companies through the intricacies of corporate and business law, technology and software protection, employment law, real estate, and M&A transactions. His expertise is particularly reflected in his successful negotiation of Mining and IP contracts with industry giants like Codelco, Rio Tinto, and Glencore in both Latin America and Australia. In 2001, Harris established the first Australian legal office in South America, marking a significant milestone with an office in Chile. From 2008 to 2014, he practised extensively in Chile, cementing the firm's robust presence across the region. Currently, he leads practices in Australia, Chile, and Peru, focusing on Technology Law and the METS sector. His work primarily involves advising engineering firms and technology providers, addressing complexities in international expansion, critical minerals, and supply chain strategies through complex contracts such as EPC, EPCM, and O&M.
