Marguerite Lourens

Marguerite Lourens serves as a director of Haynes Leeuwin, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Admitted to practice in South Africa in 1995, and later in Western Australia in 2011, Marguerite has cultivated extensive expertise in wills, estate planning, and estate administration. Her comprehensive understanding encompasses the preparation and advising on a variety of legal instruments, including simple and complex wills, testamentary trusts, wills with life interests, enduring powers of attorney, and enduring powers of guardianship. Marguerite adeptly handles applications for probate and letters of administration, as well as the administration of deceased estates, survivorship applications, and transmission applications. Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, she is able to cater to a diverse clientele. Beyond her professional commitments, Marguerite enjoys bush walking, travelling, and cherishing moments with her twin boys.
