Natasha Williams serves as Special Counsel, bringing a wealth of experience in investment funds and financial services law. Her extensive career has been marked by significant roles at prestigious firms such as Clayton Utz and Allen & Overy, along with secondments to major global investment banks. Natasha's expertise encompasses fund governance, financial product manufacturing, licensing, disclosure, contracting, and distribution. She has adeptly advised both Australian and offshore fund managers on structuring, establishing, and promoting investment funds and platform arrangements. Her insights have guided significant acquisitions, divestments, and restructures, as well as advised wholesale investors on participating in various collective investment schemes and vehicles. Natasha has also provided comprehensive advice to banking clients, addressing regulatory matters including privacy, bank confidentiality, outsourcing, anti-money laundering, conducting banking business in Australia, and adhering to US reporting requirements. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University. Outside of her legal pursuits, Natasha enjoys family time, takes care of her pets, and is ambitiously working towards achieving a black belt in karate.
