Astrid Keir-Stanley serves as the Chief Legislative Advisor, where her exceptional ability to interpret and communicate complex legislation is highly valued by clients. Holding a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Bioethics and Health Law, Astrid brings a wealth of knowledge from her previous work in health law in Dunedin, New Zealand. There, she advised healthcare providers, organisations, and consumers, with a particular focus on pharmacy law, providing critical insights on the acquisition, sale, and restructuring of pharmacy businesses. Additionally, she has shared her expertise as a lecturer of pharmacy law to undergraduate students at the University of Otago and the University of Auckland. In her current role, Astrid manages a comprehensive range of legislative compliance products, addressing Commonwealth and State legislation for healthcare, welfare, and aged care providers. She has also spearheaded the development of a policy update service, ensuring clients' policies remain legally current, thus enhancing Health Legal's existing compliance offerings. Her career spans several notable positions, including Compliance Associate at Health Legal and Senior Policy Officer at Breast Cancer Network Australia. Astrid’s extensive legal background is complemented by over a decade in roles focused on legislative compliance and advisory services, reinforcing her status as a pivotal resource in navigating complex legal landscapes.
