David Fleming is the Practice Manager with extensive experience in wills, trusts, estate administration, family provision claims, will disputes and commercial law. Admitted to practise in the United Kingdom in 1979 and later in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in April 1989, David brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Private Pilot’s Licence, reflecting his varied interests outside the legal profession. David is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia. Throughout his career, David has provided counsel and advice to remote Aboriginal communities in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia and North Queensland. He has represented clients in the Supreme Court of Western Australia regarding claims under the Family Provision Act 1972 (WA) and the Wills Act 1970 (WA). His practice extends to estate and succession planning, including preparing Wills, enduring powers of attorney, enduring powers of guardianship, and offering advice on superannuation funds. David’s skills and experience have been recognised by clients and colleagues alike, with his inclusion in Doyle’s 2019 list of leading Western Australian Wills, Estates and Succession Planning Lawyers. Outside the office, he enjoys activities such as flying light aeroplanes and competitive tennis, and is often found training at a local CrossFit gym or exploring remote areas of the North West Kimberley and North Queensland.
