About Greg
Greg Howe is one of the founding directors of Howe Jenkin and a prominent figure in Adelaide's family law landscape, bringing over 47 years of dedicated experience. He began his legal journey under the mentorship of the late Justice Ted Mullighan, eventually entering into partnership with him. Greg has a profound expertise in financial matters, especially those entailing companies, businesses, trusts, and intricate financial disputes. His proficiency extends to property disputes within de facto relationships, now addressed under the Family Law Act. Before establishing Howe Jenkin in April 2014, Greg was at the helm of Howe Martin & Associates. His contributions to the field were recognised globally when he was invited to become a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers in 2004, one of only two in South Australia. Demonstrating leadership within the profession, he co-chaired the organising committee for the successful 19th National Family Law Conference in Adelaide in 2022. Greg's standing in the legal community is cemented by his election in 2008 as the South Australian Representative to the National Executive of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a role he honourably held until 2024. Active within the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators, he has guided numerous clients through mediation processes. The excellence of Howe Jenkin is underscored by consistent top rankings in Doyle's Guide among family law firms in South Australia from 2015 to 2026. Greg himself has been distinguished as one of the three preeminent family lawyers in the state for 2023 through 2025, notably in areas involving high-value and complex matters.
