Con Nottas serves as the Managing Partner at Hutchinson Legal, where his persuasive and thorough approach to legal practice, coupled with a friendly demeanour, is highly appreciated by both clients and colleagues. Con specialises in representing clients across a vast spectrum of bankruptcy, corporate insolvency, and business and commercial disputes. He is an active member of the Law Council of Australia and regularly contributes to the Business Law Section's Insolvency & Restructuring Committee in Melbourne. Additionally, he holds a professional membership with the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association, a leading body in the field. Con embarked on his journey with Hutchinson Legal in 2005, focusing on bankruptcy, insolvency, commercial litigation, and employment law. His dedication and skill led to his role as a founding partner in December 2009, and eventually to his current leadership position. His legal career commenced at Lewis Holdway Lawyers, where he honed his expertise in civil and commercial litigation, as well as insolvency matters. Con's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. Beyond his legal commitments, he is an enthusiastic Western Bulldogs supporter and participates in various sporting and adventure activities, including skiing, cycling, and indoor soccer.
