Grant's career trajectory led him to establish his own legal practice in Melbourne, where he steered the litigation team with a focus on Reconstruction Law. In December 2009, he became one of the founding partners of Hutchinson Legal. Over his tenure, he served as the Managing Partner, a role he held until November 2024, before transitioning to lead the Wills & Estates practice area. Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in several jurisdictions across Australia and New Zealand, Grant holds professional qualifications that further underscore his legal expertise. His comprehensive legal practice includes being admitted to the Supreme Courts of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania, and Western Australia, alongside certification from the Queensland Law Society.
