

As a Director and Co-Founder at JSP Legal, Shaviv leads our practice in Construction Law and Commercial Litigation, ensuring high-quality legal representation for our clients in Sydney and Canberra. His role encompasses managing complex construction and commercial disputes, and navigating various legal frameworks, including Security of Payments in NSW and ACT. He is proud to have been recognized by Doyles Guide, 2025, for his contribution to the construction and infrastructure sectors, and being named as a Lawyers Weekly Finalist, Construction and Infrastructure Partner of the Year, 2026. Shaviv also currently serves as a committee member of the Professional Conduct Committee with the Law Society of NSW, in addition to his memberships with the NSW Law Society and Society of Construction Law, Australia. Shaviv obtained his LLB degree from the University of South Africa in 2005 and was subsequently admitted as an attorney (solicitor) with right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa. Shaviv is also admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (Australia) and as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. With nearly two decades of front-end and back-end experience across construction law and commercial litigation, Shaviv has developed a strong track record in advising clients on complex, high-value matters and projects within both domestic and international contexts.
