Erin Eagles

Erin Eagles is a Senior Associate at JTA Law, having launched her legal career with the firm where she remains an integral team member. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Erin's expertise spans commercial, corporate, and intellectual property law, with a strong focus on insurance defence litigation and recovery. She adeptly advises insurer clients in both subrogated settings and directly, addressing both litigated and internal matters. Her proficiency extends to policy coverage advice and representing clients in various jurisdictions and alternative resolution processes like mediation. Erin's legal journey began as a paralegal in 2009, followed by her admission to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011. She has held various roles at JTA Law, progressing from Solicitor to Associate before her current Senior Associate position. Her commitment to client service is reflected in her ability to deliver tailored legal advice driven by a proactive and comprehensive understanding of the law. Outside the firm, Erin actively contributes as a Board Member of Biyani House, a Revesby women's shelter, where she supports efforts to provide a safe environment for homeless women seeking control and fulfilment in their lives. Her educational achievements are complemented by her participation in activities such as editing the UTS Law Students Society journal and engaging in international exchanges, broadening her legal perspective and enhancing her adaptability in practice.
