

About Ray
Ray Purcell is the Director and Principal of KPA Lawyers, where he leads the Litigation and Property Law divisions. He graduated from Monash University in 1985 with a combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degree. Ray was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 1987. Since 1991, Ray has been a principal at KPA Lawyers, providing legal services in commercial law, property law and litigation. His diverse client base includes sporting professionals, community and sporting associations, as well as local, national and international companies. Ray’s practical approach and ability to identify key issues allow clients to gain clarity on their legal position and reach effective resolutions efficiently. Ray has also shared his knowledge through lecturing in Commercial Law at Monash University’s David Syme School of Business. With close to 40 years of legal experience, he is committed to delivering knowledgeable and dedicated service to his clients. Beyond his work as a solicitor, Ray holds accreditation as a Migration Agent and as both an AFL and NBA Player Agent, further demonstrating his multifaceted expertise. He is also actively involved in the community as a Founding Member and Director of the Grow Hope Foundation, which supports Indigenous Australians through education initiatives, and as a Founding Member and Officer of Village Zero Sandringham Inc., a not-for-profit focused on urban regeneration and sustainable development.
