Kate Lyttle

Kate Lyttle serves as the Director at Laity Morrow, bringing extensive expertise in property, projects, and construction law. Known for her sharp commercial acumen and meticulous approach, Kate excels in managing complex projects and transactions with bespoke contractual arrangements. Her practice focuses on property development, infrastructure, defence development, and government projects, advising both government entities and private sector clients across industries such as defence, education, commercial property, aged care, and health. With significant in-house experience, Kate's secondments with major institutional clients have enriched her practical understanding of the higher education, transport, and industrial sectors. Beyond her legal practice, she contributes to the Property Council of Australia as a member of the South Australian Industrial and Logistics Committee. Her leadership extends to Pulteney Grammar School, where she is a Board Member and part of the Finance and Risk Committee and the Strategic Capital Works Committee. Kate's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Flinders University. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, reflecting her commitment to governance and strategic leadership. Her earlier career spans over a decade at Johnson Winter & Slattery, where she honed her skills from Associate to Special Counsel, culminating in her current role at Laity Morrow.
