Graham Lancaster

Graham Lancaster began his legal journey in 1984 as a law clerk, gaining admission to the Law Society of NSW in 1990. With a substantial career spanning decades, he has practised in various branches of law, including significant appearances in both Federal and State Courts. Since 1997, Graham has particularly honed his expertise in Commercial Law and Insolvency, earning recognition as an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation (Insolvency). His adeptness in litigation and dispute resolution is complemented by his National Mediation Accreditation, enabling him to facilitate conflict resolution through methods such as negotiation, arbitration, and mediation. Graham has a proven track record in handling complex commercial litigation cases involving debt recovery, insurance issues, shareholder and partnership disputes, as well as contract and business failure disputes. He is proficient in providing legal advice related to receiverships, administrations, and company liquidation across varied industries. Additionally, Graham offers guidance to company directors and shareholders regarding their legal rights and responsibilities. Graham’s insolvency litigation experience is extensive, having worked closely with companies and liquidators in fund recovery and creditor claim defence. His commitment to professional growth is evident through courses in Negotiation, Collaborative Law, and Mediation. A director of Access Law Group since 2002, Graham is also noted for his contributions to leadership and community engagement. He has served in numerous prestigious roles, including as a Director and founding member of the Leadership Development Forum, past Board Member of the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Law Society of New South Wales, and current President of The Illawarra Connection. His dedication to both the legal profession and the community is further reflected in his honorary memberships and past directorships within the sports sector.
