Mike Waldie

Mike Waldie serves as the Legal Practice Director and co-founder of Level Field, where he brings exceptional expertise in construction law. With a robust history of collaborating with major contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and principals, Mike's practice is deeply enriched by his extensive experience in contracts management. This allows him to deliver commercially astute advice that resonates with clients in their own language. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Laws with distinction, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, and an Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction Management. Furthering his proficiency, Mike is currently pursuing a Master of Construction Law at the University of Melbourne. Admitted as a Solicitor to both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, Mike's career encompasses significant roles such as Legal Practice Director at Level Field, where he has been offering strategic, industry-focused legal consulting since 2017. Previously, he contributed his expertise to GRC Quantity Surveyors as a consultant, and held senior contracts administration positions at Devine Limited, McNab, and Broad Construction Services. His extensive background in legal and construction sectors positions him as a knowledgeable leader capable of navigating complex legal landscapes to meet the needs of his clients effectively.
