Her extensive career in property and commercial law spans both private practice and in-house legal roles within the corporate sector and local government. Carina's expertise is enriched by her strong background in corporate governance, risk management, insurance, and compliance. She has previously held the position of Company Secretary at Sunshine Coast Airport and has been involved in the development and implementation of legislative compliance frameworks, including delivering Human Rights Act Awareness Training at the Sunshine Coast Council. Her leadership extends to her role as a volunteer member of the Suncoast Community Legal Service Management Committee, reflecting her commitment to community service. Educationally, Carina holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland, a Post Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, and a Master of Laws in Applied Business Law and Transactions, also from the College of Law. She is admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
