About Paul
Paul Crane has been a practising solicitor in Coffs Harbour for over 40 years. With great pride, he now acts for the second and third generation descendants of his original clients. Paul's extensive experience is particularly centred on estate planning, superannuation and trusts, along with the probate and administration of estates. He is well-versed in the complexities of wills, particularly those incorporating testamentary trusts and dealing with claims against estates by disappointed beneficiaries. His clients appreciate his care and guidance on sensitive personal issues, which is often noted in referrals to his practice. In addition to his legal work, Paul is actively involved in the community. He serves on the Board of Sawtell Catholic Care for the Aged, the largest retirement complex between Port Macquarie and Ballina, and has previously contributed as a Board member of Coffs Harbour Support Services, a key Not for Profit community organisation offering assistance to people with disabilities on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Paul is known for his friendly and approachable manner, providing pragmatic and commercially effective advice. He is dedicated to achieving timely and cost-efficient resolutions for his clients, upholding both a professional and ethical approach to the practice of law. Paul takes the responsibility of his clients' affairs very seriously, ensuring their sanctity is maintained. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Sydney University and a Bachelor of Commerce from James Cook University. Additionally, Paul is a trained mediator and probity advisor, and an active member of the NSW Law Society and the Institute of Public Administration Australia (NSW division).
